In this instalment of the Regions Now lectures, Dr Ana García Fernández from London Vet Specialists will discuss POCUS (point of care ultrasound)

This POCUS course will show you how to perform emergency ultrasound, dividing the session in two parts where we will talk about T-FAST and A-FAST.

This will allow you how to recognise the normal findings and the most common abnormalities on both T-FAST and A-FAST, and you will also learn how to perform an abdominocentesis and a thoracocentesis, being able to diagnose and treat/stabilize your emergency cases.
