The Autumn 2025 Dispensing course is held online with a live Q&A session. 

The material will be released in small sections per week, containing approximately 1.5 hr of recorded lecture content and supporting notes. This course will carry 7.5 hours of CPD.

You may study this material at your own convenience, but we strongly advise that you cover all the material prior to the 2-hour Live Q&A session on 6th November 2025 at 10:00 a.m. on Zoom. 


It is compulsory that you attend this live session in order to complete the course and get your CPD certificate and/or AMTRA points. 
The material will remain available for one month after the live Q&A session



The Vet Nurse Merit Award in ECC and Anaesthesia is a non-accredited structured CPD course for the motivated nurse in primary care. 

The award is made up of 10 online sessions each containing a video lectures, supporting notes and most will include an online task of some type.

This course is aimed primarily at veterinary surgeons working in small animal practice who have a particular interest in small animal surgery. The aim is to provide participants with the knowledge and expertise they need to deal with the surgical situations they encounter regularly. Furthermore, participants will enhance their understanding of more complex techniques and new advances so that they are able to discuss treatment options and potential outcomes with clients, and to refer appropriately.


The BSAVA Postgraduate Certificate in Small Animal Emergency and Critical Care is aimed primarily towards veterinary surgeons working in small animal practice who have a particular interest in emergency and critical care. The aim is to provide participants with the knowledge and expertise they need to deal with those conditions requiring emergency treatment which they encounter regularly. Furthermore, participants will enhance their understanding of more complex techniques and new advances so that they are able to discuss treatment options and potential outcomes fully with clients, and to refer appropriately.


The BSAVA Postgraduate Certificate in Small Animal Ophthalmology is aimed primarily towards veterinary surgeons working in small animal practice who have a particular interest in ophthalmology. The aim is to provide participants with the knowledge and expertise they need to deal with the ophthalmological conditions which they encounter regularly. Furthermore, participants will enhance their understanding of more complex techniques and new advances so that they are able to discuss treatment options and potential outcomes fully with clients, and to refer appropriately.


The BSAVA Postgraduate Certificate in Small Animal Diagnostic Imaging is aimed primarily towards veterinary surgeons working in small animal practice. The programme will provide participants with the knowledge and expertise they need to confidently and competently chose the most clinically relevant diagnostic imaging technique and to accurately interpret images obtained with radiography and ultrasonography. Furthermore, participants will enhance their understanding of more advanced imaging techniques. 



This programme is designed primarily for veterinary surgeons working in small animal clinical practice or clinical training programmes, with a particular interest in the identification and solving of problems through clinical research. The aim is to provide participants with the knowledge and understanding required to plan and implement veterinary clinical research and to communicate the findings to the wider profession.

This POCUS course will show you how to perform emergency ultrasound, dividing the session in two parts where we will talk about T-FAST and A-FAST.
